Three ways in. Pick the one that fits how you work.

These are not tiers stacked on top of each other. All three reach the same data. What differs is what you pay with: usage, a machine's uptime, or money.

1 · Ask

Query through the MCP

Free up to a quota

Metered by rows scanned; paid past the quota

Every venue we sell is reachable. Nothing is held back for a higher tier: the only thing that changes as you use more is the meter.

  • Nothing to provision or download: the question can be larger than your machine.
  • Bars, returns, volatility, cross-venue volume come back already computed: your Python starts at the analysis.
  • Same quota for everyone. The price past it is published here before the first paid call is taken.

Pick this if your question has an answer smaller than its data: a bar series, a statistic, a comparison.

2 · Mine

Run a node, keep what you record

Your machine's uptime

No keys, no funds, no exchange account

Run the open-source node on the venues you care about and you get the data you record. The archive gets an independent witness for those same minutes, which is what makes the merged record trustworthy.

  • Your node keeps what it records: the venues you chose, at the depth you chose.
  • Records the archive did not have earn data credits, a discount on everything else we sell. Never cash, never transferable.
  • Two independent nodes were never blind at the same minute in our own measurement; one alone was, for 1 to 4 minutes every 3 hours.

Pick this if you have a machine that stays up and a short list of venues you need deeply.

Buy access you cannot mine

From $49 / month

Or $3–4 per GB, no subscription

This tier exists for one reason: you need more than you can record yourself. No spare machine, venues you do not run, or history from before your node started.

  • Bulk raw files by day, venue and data type, as presigned download links.
  • History your node was not running for, across every sellable venue.
  • Monthly GB included, or buy exactly the slices you need.

Pick this if you need the raw rows on your own machine, or more venues and history than you can run.

Which one is yours

Start by asking. Mine or subscribe when you need the rows.

Most readers should start with Ask: it is free, it reaches every venue, and within a week the meter tells you whether you need more. Then:

Stay with Ask

if what you need is a number, a series or a comparison. Bars, volatility, cross-venue volume: the answer is small even when the data is not, and it arrives already computed, from a laptop with nothing downloaded.

Move to Mine

if you need raw rows for a few venues and have a machine that stays up. You keep what you record, and your node makes the shared record harder to fault.

Move to Subscribe

if you need raw rows for more venues, or more history, than you can record yourself. That gap is exactly what the subscription is for.

Why the free line falls where it does

An answer costs us CPU. A file costs us egress.

An aggregate is computed on a machine that already runs to record the data, and what it returns is a few kilobytes. Handing out raw files costs bandwidth and storage on the way out, gigabytes at a time. So asking is free up to a quota, and raw files are paid. That is the honest shape of the costs, not a loss-leader and not a trial that runs out.

The per-user quota and the price past it are published on this page before the first paid call is taken. Today's limits are here.

* Centralized exchanges are sold as derived data only (liquidations, funding, open interest): their raw ticks are licensed by the exchange, not ours to resell. Perp DEXs and prediction markets are sold in full. The same line is why the free MCP returns answers rather than rows; more on that.
